Construction site safety is a highly topical issue that requires both careful planning and effective on-site monitoring. Within construction management assignments, Studio A. Ferraresi – AF Engineering typically provides Safety Coordination during the Design Phase (CSP) and Safety Coordination during the Construction Phase (CSE), either as separate services or as part of a comprehensive package. In both cases, these are key roles, strictly regulated by current legislation, that interface with all parties involved in the construction process – from the client to the designers, from construction companies to skilled workers and self-employed contractors:
- As Health and Safety Coordinators during the Design Phase, we intervene at the design stage to develop the Health and Safety Plan (PSC) and compile the project safety file containing all relevant project information.
- As Health and Safety Coordinators during the Construction Phase, we carry out supervision and control activities throughout the works to verify the correct implementation of the PSC.
