Site supervision, both at an overall project level and specifically for structural works, is one of the core areas of expertise of Studio A. Ferraresi – AF Engineering. Experience, flexibility and the ability to mediate between all the professionals involved are qualities we have developed to the highest level through decades of on-site activity, during which we have dealt with a wide range of situations, challenges and unforeseen events.
Site management and supervision represent the high-level oversight of construction activities, ensuring that the completed works comply with the design specifications, contractual requirements and applicable regulations. In this role, we act on behalf of the client as guarantors of full compliance with the construction contract, in technical, administrative, construction planning and cost terms.
The firm, and in particular Eng. Andrea Ferraresi, has a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the entire construction process, including its technical development, execution methods and administrative procedures. This enables us to coordinate each project effectively, integrating seamlessly with all design and construction roles both upstream and downstream of the construction management and clerk of works function, while maintaining a clear focus on the final objective and fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Our detailed knowledge of construction processes and site techniques allows us to interpret contractual provisions according to their true intent and purpose, rather than in a purely formal or bureaucratic manner. We are therefore able to identify alternative solutions to critical issues promptly, ensuring the economic efficiency of the project outcome. Decades of site experience, combined with continuous inter-generational exchange within the firm, also enable us to anticipate potential problems and consistently identify the most effective solutions from a functional, economic and constructability perspective.
